Sarah Collier

SARAH COLLIER, dau of Benjamin C. Collier And Margaret Lane, was born May 30, 1825 in Early Co., Ga. The date of her death is unknown to this writer. She was married July 31, 1842 in Early Co., Ga to ALLEN MOORE HOOKS, son of GEORGE HOOKS and SUSAN BRIGHT. Allen was born in 1820 in North Carolina and died January 16, 1892. They are both butied at Hooks Cemetery in Hardin Co., TX. They came to Texas in 1849, along with her sister and brother-in-law, MARTHA COLLIER, who married Allen's brother, WILLIAM HOOKS.
