How do you spell RELIEF?.....the OUTHOUSE is up and in working order!!

I'm moving pages to new servers because I ran out of room and adding stuff to my homepage every day . I'm sorry if things keep getting moved and you come back for a visit and things don't look the same or have been moved and you have to go looking for them.

We have some very serious heath problems within the family and many, many everyday events that demand my time. Keeping 9 USGenWeb Counties & related mailing lists along with two "Surname" sites & lists is a more thn full-time job. The volunteer pay needs a boost... <grin>. In addition, I've been helping Dad settle my aunts estate in Houston and that has been a 2-year ordeal.

I've had some E-Mail & Computer problems, so if you mailed me at and didn't get a response, I apologize. Please send it again. I'm trying to play catch up now on my mail. I have several different email addresses that you can try:
RootsLady@rootslady.com
RootsLady@lest-we-forget.com
RootsLady@email.msn.com
RootsLady@writeme.com

With all my love,
RootsLady

PS...Somebody better order Pizza for supper!!

In March of 1990, my husband was in a near fatal industrial accident when run of by a thirteen ton forklift, from toe to head. When he was in ICU a friend gave me a little plastic card with the following poem on it. Twenty seven surgeries later it still stays on my icebox.

DON'T QUIT

When things go wrong, and they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low, and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is queer with it's twist and turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns,
And many failure turns about,
When he might have won had he stuck it out.
Don't give up though the pace seems slow,
You may succeed with another blow.

Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt.
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far.
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit,
It's when things seem worst,
that you must not quit!!
