There are many, many ways you can help YANCEY Researchers and YANCEY COUSINS UNITED. It doesn't matter where you live or where your ancestors lived. You don't even have to be a Yancey researcher yourself. We will appreciate any information.
If you have any genealogical resources available to you....either books or publications you own or have access to, such as at a library, you can help. If you see a reference to a marriage, death, burial, deed, census record, family history book, etc., make a note of it and send it to YANCEY COUSINS UNITED. I'm not asking you to violate any copyright laws and I don't want copies of whole books. But, a few records here and there soon add up to lots of available information.
If you are a YANCEY researcher yourself then you probably have sources of the marriage records, cemetery records, etc. of your own Yancey's. Send them in.
If you visit a cemetery and notice a YANCEY grave, jot down the information and send it in.
If you see a reference to a YANCEY connection in an obituary....send it in!!
