1999 YANCEY-MEDEARIS REUNION - 1999
The 48th Yancey-Medaris Reunion will be held on Saturday, June 12, 1999 at the Ryan's Steakhouse in Greenville, TX.  It will begin at 10 am, break for lunch  about 11:30 am (dutch) there at the steakhouse and then continue our program till about 3 p.m.   Any Yancey descendants are welcome to come.  It's a great opportunity to meet lots of  Yancey descendants.  Anyone wanting other information may call me at 903-595-2916 or email at Scg2331@aol.com.

PAST REUNIONS

1997 YANCEY-MEDEARIS REUNION - 1997
This year it took place on Saturday, June 14, 1997 at Ryan's Steak House in Greenville, TX. Next year it will also be on the second Saturday at the same location from 10 am to 3 pm. Many of the folks who attend are descendants of David Yancey and and his wife, Rachel Davis (Medearis) Yancey. Our gathering has been going for over forty years now.

As usual we had a very enjoyable time. One person even flew in from south Florida, but he was a Medearis cousin. This meeting, while not the largest, was a little different in that quite a few more-distant relatives came, ones where you have to trace back to Richard or James to find kinship. I didn't have too much new information to present on the Yanceys.
