If you came here for any reason other than the fact that you are interested "doing" Genealogical research on the YANCEY surname or any of it's variants, then we are truly honored to have you.

Maybe you have a connection to the name YANCEY but you have never really been interested in genealogy. That's OK! Not everyone is addicted to this wonderful "hobby" as others. Some folks think it is a waste of time and good money.

Maybe you've have a passing interest in learning more about your name or ancestors but just haven't gotten around to it yet. In todays world, we are all busy with families, jobs, etc. and maybe you think when you retire you will have more time to start. That's OK, too. Maybe you are young person who can't possibly ever foresee you being interested in this "genealogy stuff."

Maybe one of your relatives is the "family historian or genealogist" and you'll just let them do all that digging up of your ancestors and you just can't be bothered. We understand, some of us have been there too.

What do we want from you?? Well, even if you think you will never return to this page again, we have a favor to ask of you. We need your help for those of us that do have an interest. Would you please, at least, take the time to send us an email message below and tell us who you are, and how you got here. You may also tell us as much or as little about yourself as you would like. Let us know if you are interested enough that it would be OK if someone contacted you for more information. Someday you just might be glad you took the time to drop us a line.
