I have had the privilege of working with the '66' Class Reunion Committee since 1981. We have a great group of both graduates and friends of our class. We celebrated our 30 year reunion in June of 1996 and I believe ,in the end, it was our best reunion, yet.
Having attended elementary & junior high school in two different towns and then being brought together in our high school years taught all of us a great many lessons. In junior high we were rivals and then we had to learn to be part of the same "team." It's kinda like marring someone from Nederland or T.J. I hope we learned our lessons well!!
Friends of the Class of '66'
We have over one hundred people on our friends list. They are people who attended classes with us but did not graduate with us for one reason or another. Some got married, some moved, some went in the service, and some just "flunked out." No matter the reason, they are all part of the memories of our school days. We have several "class friends" who work on our committee and we are privileged to have their help and support.
I know this sounds awful, but, our next official reunion is scheduled for the year .............2001.
